Hi there, welcome to our official first blog!!! We are very excited to add this as another form of value and communication to you. I hope you will join us in conversation on the topics, stories, thoughts we will be posting. Thank you for checking in.
When I first decided to start a blog for Under Construction I must admit I wasn't quite sure what we'd write about. Make no mistake we send out lots of information on fitness, nutrition, and overall health topics. We believe it is important to provide value to our clients and we work constantly to do so. However I wanted this to be a bit different, at least to start.
I recently spoke with a client who has been with us for quite some time. She told me she recently did a bike ride with friends on a beautiful sunny day. (I know we don't get that many sunny days but this was one of them) LOL. She said it was quite the trek with a lot of hills, pretty strenuous in fact. Amongst her group there were many who had a tough time on the trail. Some didn't even make it up the hills, but to her surprise she made it!! She really didn't think she could do it. She expressed her joy and how proud she was of herself! While she was telling me about her journey. I couldn't help but to reflect back on the time I've known this client. I've seen her struggle with her goals and heard her frustrations with a lifetime of wanting to make a change. I smiled because I could hear how happy she was, and how she has reached a pivotal moment along her weight loss journey. I was overjoyed for her.
It was a moment that reminds me of how grateful I am to be a part of her success. I have been in fitness for a very long time. And it is the many many stories of progress, achievement, satisfaction, and triumph that truly fills my heart. I knew long ago that helping others achieve their fitness and weight loss goals was what I wanted to do. I am so grateful that no matter how many years and clients I see, I am constantly inspired!! I'm sure this client doesn't even know how much her story touched me that day, but it did. Thank you Ms. B for sharing your journey!!
